Without exception, all applicants for volunteer positions in the diocese must first complete an application requesting a criminal background check and then complete a Safe Environment training for adults. Completing Safe Environment Training will require the creation of a User I.D. and Password. Please remember to keep a record of the login so you may return to the site to renew your safe environment training in the future. Criminal history background checks and safe environment training expire every 3 years.
In order to complete an application online, you must have a valid Driver’s License or Identification card. If you do not have a DL or ID card, please click here to print a paper application. Paper applications should be turned into the location (parish or Catholic school office) where you are seeking to volunteer.
Blue Cards will no longer be issued. A record of the completion of your training is automatically sent to the location of service.
