CONGREGATION’S INITIALS: ISSM

CHARISM:  Schoenstatt seeks to reconnect faith with daily life, especially through a deep love of Mary, the Mother of God.  In the Covenant of Love with Mary it wants to help in the moral and religious renewal, thus leading all to Christ, to the Holy Spirit, to God the Father and to a renewal of love of neighbor and self.

SPIRITUALITY: Marian and Patrocentric:  The Covenant of love with Mary (dedication in the spirit of Schoenstatt) leads us to strive for everyday sanctity and as instruments in the hands of Mary we help to lead all to Christ and the Father.

MINISTRY:  The members work in all lay professions in secular and ecclesiastical fields, in as far as these are in keeping with woman’s nature.  The members also pursue independent profession.  Our main task is to soul of the Schoenstatt Movement, to embody the image of Mary and to offer our lives in selfless service for the fulfillment of her mission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
Age range from 17 to 27 (exceptions possible)
Completed high school.
Sound religious disposition and readiness to give one’s life in generous service to the Church.
Good physical, mental and psychological health.
Ability to live a virginal life.
Ability to live happily in community and to contribute to its spirit and life in a positive way.
