But there is room to wonder whether it actually conveys more than was intended. As a believer, reading between the lines, I read it another way. I read: “Don’t believe in God? The truth is you’re not alone. He is with us!”

St. Anthony Church in Robstown celebrated their 34th Annual Fiesta Mexicana and Fiesta Coronation on March 2 and 3. Royalty winners of 2013 were chosen to represent Mexico City and the State of Nuevo Leon. All of the candidates helped raise funds for the church. The event began with a Main Street Parade and proceeded on to the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairground. The Fiesta Coronation winners in the youth category were King Lucas Gonzales and Queen Candace Vasquez, the winner in the adult category was Queen Katy Saenz and the winner in the baby contest was 2013 Fiesta Princess Mya Flores.
The Corpus Christi Cathedral was filled with priests, religious and lay faithful during the Chrism Mass on Tuesday, March 26. A.J. Carter, a fourth grader from Sacred Heart School in Rockport, won 1st place over all the 4th graders at the Coastal Bend Science Fair on March 9. Geraldine McGloin, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 10, after a short illness. McGloin was a longtime correspondent for the South Texas Catholic and was active in many organizations and ministries of the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
