Timon's Ministries hosts Toast of Mayor Nelda Martinez

Timon's Ministries Board Chairman Dr. Paul Zanetti invites the community to support its fundraiser, Celebrity Toast of the Mayor at 6 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center.

The event will feature a gourmet dinner, silent auction, music by the Reflections and a host of Mayor Nelda Martinez's buddies stepping up to have some fun.

Funds from this event go toward Timon's goal of providing “A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out” to the underserved in the Flour Bluff community. They provide food, financial assistance, daily meals, free dental and medical and eye care. The medical clinic serves more than 850 patients. The dental clinic has helped more than 2,000 patients since inception in 2009.
