TEXAS BISHOPS OFFER SOLIDARITY TO UKRAINE

AUSTIN – The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops issued a statement calling for an end to the war on Ukraine, urging all people of good will to join in praying for peace and in providing humanitarian relief.
The bishops are joining Pope Francis in encouraging all people to join them Friday, March 25, the solemnity of the Annunciation of our Lord Jesus Christ, in making a solemn act of consecration of Russian and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that she, the Queen of Peace, may obtain peace for the world.
In addition, the bishops provide a list of entities supporting refugees and providing humanitarian aid, all of which are receiving donations.
