Students receive prize for reading

On Jan. 25 Karina Ybarra received a $25 Gift Certificate for the Book Fair held at St. Anthony School. Elva Ybarra, the school librarian, encouraged the students to read books since the first day of school. Karina read a total of 105 books in 100 school days and made a poster depicting all the books she read.
Sister Mary's 3rd grade class read the most books and received a certificate for reading a total of 203 books. Victoria Verdin also received a $10 gift certificate for reading 92 books.
