Students participate in local Rotary Club Speech Contest

St. John Paul II High School students participated in a 4-Way Test Speech Contest sponsored by the Southside Rotary International Club of Corpus Christi at the Del Mar Economic Building on Feb. 19.

The purpose of the 4-Way contest is to foster the principles of ethics in everyday life as well as in business. The Contest is designed to introduce high school students to Rotary Club principles by creating interest through a competitive speech contest, sponsored by their local Rotary club.

St. John Paul II High School speech coach is Sherri Davis. Gabriella Conklin received $200 and Vanessa Falcon received $100, plus each of the students received a Rotary 4-Way Test coin.
