St. John Paul II High School inducts new NHS members

The St. John Paul II National Honor Society held its induction ceremony on Wednesday, May 11 at the Immaculate Conception Chapel. School president Father Peter Martinez served as guest speaker at the ceremony.

Twenty-two juniors qualified for induction into the society for the upcoming school year, 2016-2017. The NHS officers for the upcoming school year are: President, Erika Suniga; Vice-President, Brandon Deeb; Secretary, Jackie Rodriguez; Treasurer, Karley Hellums; Historian, Alyssa Ayarzagoitia; and Parliamentarian Trinity Lozano. 

Other members include Gabby Alvarado, Allison Cable, Gabby Doucet, Caitlin Enright, Sarah Garcia, Madeline Garza, Jared Gaza, Jeremiah Hernandez, Cristina Hinojosa, Camille McCutchon, Ngoc Nguyen, Cristina Okoniewski, Jennifer Raatz, Chris Sanchez, Athena Tilley and Ileana Villarreal. 

Dinner was served after the induction ceremony.
