Pro-life activist Manuel Garcia shared his stories of St. Teresa of Calcutta at an assembly and prayer service held at Ss. Cyril and Methodius School pavilion on Sept. 2. Garcia showed students a rosary that was given to him by Mother Teresa years ago as well as a book signed by her.
The school community recognized and dedicated the 2016-17 school year to Mother Teresa. Ss. Cyril and Methodius School will model their actions of service to those in need.
The students are collecting Styrofoam cups and plates for the Mother Teresa Shelter to help feed the homeless. This service project is the student's first example of modeling the charity Mother Teresa displayed during her life.
