School hosts first blood drive of the year

Incarnate Word Academy invited the entire IWA community to attend its first blood drive of the year hosted by the High School Level and the Coastal Bend Blood Center on Tuesday, August 20.

The Coastal Bend Blood Center is invited on campus several times a year to team up with students and community members and provide the gift of life for those who need it most. In past school years, Incarnate Word Academy has received an average of 25 to 35 donors per visit.
