School celebrates 50th Anniversary

Alumni, priests, staff, students and parents celebrated St. Pius X School's 50th Anniversary on Aug. 19 beginning with Mass, a naming ceremony for the Youth Center, food, school tours and entertainment. The event coincided with the Feast of St. Pius X on Aug. 21.
 
Bishop Michael Mulvey presided over Mass and the blessing of the new sign for the Youth Center. The sign honored Msgr. Richard Shirley, who had been pastor of St. Pius X Parish for many years.
