Sacred Heart school

holds science fair

Sacred Heart School in Rockport held its 2015-16 Science Fair at school library on Oct. 14-15. Students were challenged to find a problem, decide how to solve it, predict an answer and then report on the findings.

The Fair is open to Kinder through 5 ^th, but students in 3 ^rd - 5th grades were required to enter.

Winners of this year's event: 1st Grade:1st Place, Thomas Jaggard, 2nd Place Gage Tyler; 2nd Grade: 1st Place, Thomas Waggoner and 2nd Place, Gus Johnson, 3rd Place Izzadora Niedzwiecki and 4th Place Burke Johnson; 3rd Grade: 1st Place, Evan Birdwell, 2nd Place, Kadance Sledge, 3rd Place, Ava Loraditch, 4th Place, Roman Mayes and 5th Place, Marcella Niedzwiecki; 4th Grade: 1st Place, Kadence Wells, 2nd Place, Eric Mireles, 3rd Place, Carson Bhakta, 4th Place, Emma Johns and 5th Place, Alexa Patterson; and 5th Grade: 1st Place, Katie Yarbrough, 2nd Place, Madison Domingue, 3rd Place, Andrew Ybarra, 4th Place, Jackson Callam and 5th Place, Victor Pena.
