Mrs. Liz Collis, director and cook of the cafeteria at Sacred Heart School in Rockport, received a letter from the Texas Department of Agriculture congratulating her on her success in the 2022 Farm Fresh Challenge of her National School Lunch and Breakfast Program (NSLP).
Mrs. Collis showcased and worked to establish healthy eating habits for students by introducing them to delicious Texas foods.
Sacred Heart has been a National School Lunch and Breakfast Program (NSLP) school for over 20 years. The Texas Department of Agriculture is the governing body for this program.
Mrs. Collis was congratulated for her efforts to help fuel the next Farm Fresh generation.
