The Office of Life, Justice and Human Dignity of the Diocese of Corpus Christi is sponsoring a t-shirt design contest for the 2015 Texas Rally for Life to be held on Jan. 24, 2015 in Austin. The winner will receive a $250 Visa gift card and two paid round-trip motor coach seats to attend the 2015 Texas Mass, March & Rally for Life.
Any middle school, high school or college student attending school within the Diocese of Corpus Christi may enter. Any entrant under the age of 18 must have parental consent. All eligible entrants will be placed in a single, consolation drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.
The design must be representative of all areas of respect for human life and must be respectful of all persons. Any designs with offensive language or graphics will not be considered.
The design is for the back of the shirt only. It must include the name of the event. The Diocese of Corpus Christi crest and name will be placed on left front of the shirt. The design may include date and location of the Rally, which is held at the state capitol in Austin, but this is not required.
Entries may contain up to three colors only. Depending on the color of shirt selected by the state group, the winning design may be screen-printed in a single color. The name and size of fonts and sources of graphics must be included with each entry. The design should be approximately 8.5x 11.
No more than two entries per participant will be accepted. All designs must be saved in jpeg format only. Digital copies of the design must be included with each entry. All entries become the property of the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Diagrams, clip-art or other artwork may be used only if it is in the public domain. No copyrighted items may be used, even with written permission.
Entries are to be submitted to [email protected] with "Rally for Life T-Shirt" in the subject line and via hardcopy to Office of Life, Justice and Human Dignity, PO Box 2620, Corpus Christi, Texas 78403-2620. Email notification will be provided of receipt of design. The staff of the Pastoral Parish Services Department will select the winning design for the Diocese of Corpus Christi after the Dec. 1 deadline for submitting entries.
