Incarnate Word Academy’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) held a Back-to-School Parent Social for moms and dads to meet faculty, staff, and other parents on Aug. 10 at the school's high school cafeteria.
“Our PTO hosts this annual event as a great opportunity for us to focus on our parents as a whole and continue to maintain that strong relationship with them,” President and CEO Sammie H. Grunwald said. “Parents are our most important teachers and we are blessed to have the opportunity to educate their children where all may grow in Christian wholeness and bear witness to the presence and love of Christ among us.”
Parents of students from IWA’s Elementary, Middle, and High School Level were treated to appetizers and refreshments.
“We are extremely appreciative of the bond that we have created with our parents,” Grunwald said. “We are grateful to have a very strong parent engagement across all three of our school levels, and we are blessed to see a majority of our families remain with IWA for the duration of their children’s schooling.”
