Official Assignments

For the good of the people of God in the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Bishop Michael Mulvey has appointed Father Joseph Varghese Vakayil parochial vicar of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Alice, beginning on Sept. 1.

Bishop Mulvey also announced the appointment of Father Walter Butor, OMI as Director of Lebh Shomea House of Prayer in Sarita. Father William M. Antone, OMI, with the Missionary Oblates of Mary who are in charge of Lobh Shomea, notified the bishop of Father Butor's appointment, effective Sept. 1.
