New Appointments for Pastors throughout the Diocese and for the Office of the Permanent Diaconate

For the good of the People of God in the Diocese of Corpus Christi, the Most Reverend Wm. Michael Mulvey, STL, DD, Bishop of Corpus Christi, has made the following appointments effective as of September 8, 2024:
 
Reverend Gerard J. Sheehan, SOLT, presently Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Robstown, as Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Corpus Christi.   
 
Reverend Mark Wendling, SOLT, as Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Robstown.
 
Reverend Juan Villagomez, SOLT, presently the Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Corpus Christi, will be released as Parochial Administrator and assigned as priest in residence at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.

Reverend Joseph A. Lopez, J.C.L., as Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate and Diaconal Formation;
 
Deacon Daniel P. Shaunessy as Co-Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate and Diaconal Formation;
 
Deacon Jesse Hinojosa as Assistant Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate and Diaconal Formation.
