New Appointments and Assignments

For the good of the People of God in the Diocese of Corpus Christi, the Most Reverend Wm. Michael Mulvey, STL, DD, Bishop of Corpus Christi, has appointed the Reverend James Vasquez as Director of Vocations, effective as of July 9, 2025.  He will be released from his duties as Pastor of Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.

Reverend Rogel Rosalinas, SOLT, presently the Pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi, as Pastor of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish in Robstown.   
 
Reverend Richard Klepac, SOLT, presently the Parochial Vicar of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish in Robstown, as Parochial Administrator of Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.

Reverend Christopher Becerra, presently the Pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Alice, as Pastor of Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.   
 
Monsignor Douglas Courville as the Pastor of Saint Patrick Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi. He will retain his appointment as Judicial Vicar for the Diocese.
 
Reverend Roy Jacob Kalayil, presently the Parochial Administrator of Holy Cross Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi, as Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Gregory.
 
Reverend Frank Martinez, presently the Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi, as Pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Alice and Saint Peter Mission in Ben Bolt.
 
Reverend Peter Martinez, presently the Pastor of Saint Thomas More Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and the President of Saint John Paul II High School and Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School, as Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.
 
Reverend Ramiro Regalado, presently the Parochial Administrator of Saint Mary Catholic Parish in Freer, as Pastor of Saint Thomas More Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Chaplain of the Newman Center at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi and the community with disabilities.
 
Reverend Francis Makut, presently the Parochial Vicar of Corpus Christi Cathedral in Corpus Christi, as Parochial Administrator of Holy Cross Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and as Chaplain of the Port of Corpus Christi. 

Reverend Jaison Mathew, presently the Parochial Vicar of Saint Patrick Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi, as Parochial Administrator of Saint Mary Parish in Freer.
 
Reverend Alejandro Saenz, presently the Parochial Vicar and temporary Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Refuge Parish and Saint James the Apostle Parish in Refugio, and Saint Therese of the Little Flower Parish in Woodsboro, as Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Refuge Parish and Saint James the Apostle Parish in Refugio, and Saint Therese of the Little Flower Parish in Woodsboro.
 
Reverend Carlos De La Rosa, presently the Parochial Vicar of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Chaplain of the Newman Center at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, as Parochial Vicar of Most Precious Blood Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Chaplain for Saint John Paul II Academy.
 
Reverend William Marquis, presently the Pastor of Our Lady of Refuge Parish and Saint James the Apostle Parish in Refugio, and Saint Therese of the Little Flower Parish in Woodsboro, as Parochial Vicar of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.
 
Reverend Raymond Pendleton as Parochial Vicar of Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.
 
Reverend Lukose Thirunelliparambil, presently the Parochial Vicar of Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Alice and Saint Peter Mission in Ben Bolt, as Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi.
 
Reverend Charles Silvas has been released of his appointment as Chaplain for Saint John Paul II High School.  He will retain his appointment as Parochial Vicar of Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Parish in Kingsville and Chaplain of the Newman Center at Texas A&M University in Kingsville.

 Retirement

Reverend Monsignor Roger Smith, Pastor of Saint Patrick Catholic Parish in Corpus Christi and Vicar for Retired Priests, has been granted retirement status, effective July 9, 2025.
 
Reverend Andrew Hejdak, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish in Gregory, has been granted retirement status, effective July 9, 2025.
