LULAC will celebrate family, honor parents

The League of United Latin American Citizens, Council #4444, will host a “Celebration of Family: Honoring 2014 Four-Star Parents” Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Omni Bayfront Hotel beginning with a gathering at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the event is to showcase the parents of families who embody the values of the community through hard work, perseverance, character and giving.

The four-star parents being honored are Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Garcia (pictured), Mike and Norma Pusley, Dr. Roberto and Ninfa Bosquez and Tony and Olga Bonilla.
