Local author to visit with students at book signing

Kristin Riddick, author of the “Kat McGee” adventure series will speak to Incarnate Word Academy Elementary Level students on Thursday, October 20 at 9:30 a.m. in the James R. Dougherty, Jr. Center. 

In addition to a book signing, Riddick will be discussing her book “Kat McGee and the Halloween Costume Caper,” talk about the writing process, her book tour, and have a Q&A session.

Riddick, a native of Corpus Christi, is the author of three books in the Kat McGee Adventure series: “Kat McGee and the Halloween Costume Caper,” “Kat McGee Saves America,” and “Kat McGee and the Thanksgiving Turkey Train.”

She, like Kat, never met an adventure she didn’t like. She teaches Pilates and is also an actor for commercials, sitcoms, webisodes, and her husband’s road trip movies. The University of Virginia graduate currently divides her time between Los Angeles and Austin with her husband, and they just began the greatest adventure of all — parenthood.
