Fifteen students from St. John Paul II High School's Interact Club volunteered to build a ramp at a construction site for a house being built by Habitat for Humanity–Corpus Christi on Sept. 13.
Working in over 90° heat, the students used power tools, screw drivers and measuring tape to build the ramp.
"Service over Self" is the Motto of the Interact Club, which is sponsored by the High School's Southside Rotary Interact Club–Corpus Christi.
Before taking a lunch break the group took a short ride to the sites of two other houses where Interact Club members had volunteered last school year.
