CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Blessed John Paul II High School (BJPII)
Centurion Fest will take place on March 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the school grounds located at 3036 Saratoga Boulevard in Corpus Christi. This annual fundraising event features food and sales booths, teen challenge games, inflatable games for children, live music performances, a community-wide garage sale and much more.
The Centurion Fest is a parent and volunteer effort coordinated by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at the high school to raise money for curriculum enhancements. The parents at BJPII work together every year to bring this variety of entertainment for the whole family to the Corpus Christi community.
All of BJPII sports, scholastic and fine arts organizations participate by renting booths to earn money to fund their extracurricular activities. The event is open to the community. Local parishes and non-profit agencies are invited to rent booth space for their and our fundraising purposes after Feb 29.
Booth space rents for $35 for non-food items and $100 for food sales booths. Contact Catalina Longoria at (361) 244-2469 for more information.
Local businesses will be offered the opportunity to help subsidize the event by becoming an event underwriter. Entrance to the games area will be monitored by bracelet sales. The Bracelets, which cost $10, will be pre-sold as well as on the day of the event. For more information call Missy Garcia at (361) 960-2375.
