Students at Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) returned to school on Aug. 10, ahead of many students in the Coastal Bend area.
The school has traditional and Montessori programs at the elementary level, a middle level and high school level on campus.
Students began the school day with a prayer and participated in different classroom activities. Elementary level and middle level students had early dismissal at noon, while high school level students had a full class day.
There was a middle level student social in the James R. Dougherty, Jr. Center.
Students at IWA cultivate a life-long love for learning and service, experience Christian community, and grow in commitment to Gospel values.
IWA has open enrollment for students throughout the year. For more information about admissions and scheduling a tour of the campus,
