On Thursday, May 1, Incarnate Word Academy students from the elementary, middle and high school levels presented its spring production of “Love and Friendship on Broadway” – a musical review of different Broadway hits throughout the years.
The review, performed at the Mother M. Patricia Gunning Gymnasium, featured songs such as “Hard Knock Life” from “Annie,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” from “The Sound of Music,” “Mr. Cellophane” from “Chicago,” “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from “Hairspray” and others.
In addition, there will be a public performance on Sunday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at the Aurora Arts Theatre. Admission is free.
