hosts blood drive

Incarnate Word Academy strives to respect the worth of every person and for life in all its forms, which is why students, faculty, staff and the community donated blood on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
 
“IWA welcomes the Coastal Bend Blood Center to its campus several times throughout the year to team up with students and the community to provide the gift of life,” President and CEO Sammie H. Grunwald said.
 
This past school year, IWA received an average of 30-40 donors for each visit.
