K3-5th grade students at Holy Family Catholic School participated in the annual Religion Olympics on Feb. 4. Each student answered questions about their Catholic faith and the Bible.
Judges chose winners based on how many questions were answered correctly.
The first place winners were: Marissa Buitron and Austin De Leon from Isis Del Rosal's K3 class; Jaeleigh Saldana from Elisa Godinez's K3 class; Amy Goans from Sylvia Atkinson's K4 class; Cienna Ramirez and Isabella Saenz from Lucy Garcia's K4 class; Isabel Alatorre from Sonia Davila's K5 class; Yaretzi Carlos, Kristian Garza, Sicily Ramos and Giselle Torres from Norma Vasquez's 1st grade class; Chelsea Titler from Blanca Konitzer's 2nd grade class; Cameron De Leon from Donna Metz's 3rd grade class; Marcus Aguas, Alejandro Arnero, Cristian Arriaga, Victoria Cantu, Thomas De La Garza, Elizabeth Elizondo, Zavian Diaz De Leon, Elexa Escamilla, Gabriella Garza, Olyvia Gonzalez, Gabriela Guerrero, Damian Molina and Reece Perez from Lydia Espino's 4rth grade class; and Emilio Gutierrez and Alexa Rivas from Patty Fernandez's 5th grade class.
