On Thursday, Dec. 11 Holy Family in Corpus Christi held their annual celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The celebration is consistent with the Mexican tradition of paying homage to Our Lady of Guadalupe before her feast day on Dec. 12.
"This has grown tremendously over the years into a large event and this year we did much more for this celebration," Tony Lopez, Director of Marketing and Stewardship, said.
The night included musical performances from members of the Holy Family church choirs, dance performances by Danzantes Mexicas, Danza el "Tepeyac", the Holy Family School Blue Angel Dance Team and Sarah Garcia who performed a piece using American Sign Language.
Leticia Mondragon with the Coastal Bend Blood Center served as Master of Ceremonies.
