Speakers present the spiritual beliefs of Islam, Muslim and Native Americans at Incarnate Word Academy High School Level, where students are currently studying different religions from around the world. The speakers are Sister Annette Wagner, Rabbi Ilan Emanuel, and Imam Mohamed El Ghobashy, who have met or are meeting with students during their religious studies classes.
Rabbi Ilan Emanuel, of the Congregation Beth Israel discussed the basic elements of the Jewish faith on April 27-29. Imam Mohamed El Ghobashy, of the Islamic Society of South Texas, will visit May 3 to discuss the Muslim religion. Superior General Elect Sister Annette Wagner, of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, will visit May 11 to discuss Native American spirituality.
