Growing in Grace with Bishop Mulvey Holy Week

April 2, 2023This is the start of Holy Week. As Holy Week begins, please set your schedules to attend and participate in all the liturgies in your parish or at the Corpus Christi Cathedral so we can all be together in Christ.
This week begins with the blessing of the very special gifts and oils used in the church. Your priests and our Bishop reaffirm their dedication to us, the people of God and to our Holy Church. This is a time when we too can reaffirm our commitment to our Lord, our God, our Savior.
On Holy Thursday, we see Jesus wash the feet of his disciples. The institution of the Eucharist with his disciples and the suffering on the cross on Good Friday are all ways Jesus calls us to humility, unified not only with him but with one another.
