Grounded in Truth, an opportunity for prayer

Some 200 people attended "Grounded in Truth" at Our Lady of Corpus Christi's Café Veritas and bookstore on Oct. 17. "It turned out to be an amazing success," Mona Lisa Biberstein said. Café Veritas was packed during social hour, which included food, beverages and music by Vic Benys III.

"Many came in the bookstore as well," Biberstein said. The first hour was spent in adoration in Our Lady of Perpetual Adoration Chapel. The event coincided with Father Gerry Sheehan's 30th Anniversary Mass and barbecue –so many came from there to Café Veritas to celebrate.

"Grounded in Truth" is held on the third Saturday of every month from 7-9:30 p.m.
