Fifth graders from St. Pius X School acted out the story of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe in a play for other students and parishioners on Dec. 12, in celebration of her feast day.
The tradition of share the story of Juan Diego and the Apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe has been ongoing for over 40 years at St. Pius X School.
The fifth graders also hung up their artwork of Our Lady in the church for all to enjoy.
Students spent many weeks preparing for this special event and reflected on the miracles of Juan Diego before putting on the reenactment.
