After 10 a.m. Mass on Aug. 9 Father Naul Ordoñez asked the congregation at St. Martin of Tours Church in Kingsville to pray for Victor Montez and Eric Torres, who are discerning and inquiring about the diaconate. They are among 38 men in the diocese in the inquiry stage.

Father Ordoñez also asked for prayers for Steven Victor Montez, son of Victor and Letty Montez, who is attending the seminary and discerning his vocation to the priesthood as an Oblate of Mary Immaculate.
