Driscoll hospital Lean on Me support program helps those who have lost loved one

Driscoll Children's Hospital is sponsoring a support group called "Lean on Me" for anyone who lost someone or knows of someone who lost someone close to them. This is a free service that begins next Thursday, Sept. 3 and runs for six weeks every Thursday.

This bereavement support group is for children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Children must be at least six years of age to attend as childcare is not available.

In order to participate, interested parties must RSVP by contacting the Child Life Development at (361) 694-5048. The support group will meet on the 8th floor of Driscoll Children's Hospital located at 3533 S. Alameda St., Corpus Christi.
