Dioceses prepare for 83rd Legislative Session

On Sept. 19, the Texas Catholic Conference (TCC) gathered bishops and diocesan staff from across the state to provide an overview of the bishops' legislative agenda and begin developing strategies for the upcoming 83^rd Regular Legislature, which convenes in January. Bishop Wm. Michael Mulvey and six department heads from the Diocese of Corpus Christi took part.

Dioceses broke out into individual caucuses to work on diocesan plans and goals for the 2013 Texas Catholic Conference Advocacy Day, which will be held on April 9, 2013. More information on the Advocacy Day will soon be available from the Texas Catholic Conference and the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
