Diocesan youth will make pilgrimage from Youth Spectacular to Holy Doors

More than 500 youth from throughout the Diocese of Corpus Christi are anticipated at the annual High School Youth Spectacular slated for this Saturday, Oct. 21st, at the American Bank Center. The doors will open at 8 a.m. A highlight of the event will be a pilgrimage walk from the American Bank Center to Corpus Christi Cathedral, where Bishop Michael Mulvey will greet everyone as they walk through the Holy Doors of the Year of Mercy.   
 
The Spectacular offers youth from all the parishes of the diocese an opportunity to unite in prayer and fellowship with Bishop Mulvey.  This year's theme is "Ambassadors of Mercy in the Family" and will include multiple presentations on the Spiritual and Corporal works of mercy. 
 
The pilgrimage walk will begin at 4 p.m., concluding with Bishop Mulvey celebrating the Vigil Mass at 5:30 p.m.
