On Sunday, June 10, Bishop Wm. Michael Mulvey celebrated Mass at the Corpus Christi Cathedral for the Feast of Corpus Christi. The Cathedral was full with religious and families.
Both the Cathedral Choir and the Cathedral Youth Chorale were present to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the feast of the diocese. A Eucharistic procession was made around the block of the Cathedral and ended up on the Cathedral steps with a blessing and the Blessed Sacrament held over the city.
Reentering the Cathedral the bishop finished with benediction and a blessing on all that were present. The morning continued with a get together with food in the cathedral courtyard and games for the kids.
“The day was hot and humid but the joy of being together with the Eucharistic Lord surpassed any inconvenience,” Bishop Mulvey said.
