Classes participate in Reader’s Theater

Incarnate Word Academy Elementary Level students participated in a Reader's Theater on March 27-28. The event was conducted by Sam Houston State Associate Professor Chase Young, Ph.D., who encouraged Angels to be active—not passive readers. Young's primary area of research includes reading fluency, supporting struggling readers, and making reading fun by integrating technology into elementary literacy instruction.
