Centurions win season opener

The St. John Paul II High School Centurion football team won its season opener against Agua Dulce on Sept. 4. The game, which was played at the St. John Paul II stadium, saw the Centurions prevailing 26-20. It was the Centurions first win in more than two years. Coaches, players, drill team, cheerleaders and band joined in prayer after the game.
