Catholic Scouts invited to the Corpus Christi Cathedral

March 23, 2023The start of Girl Scout Week was celebrated with Girl Scout Sunday, on March 12 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral. Girl Scouts were recognized at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Boy Scouts were also invited to Scout Sunday. The Scouts handed out orders of worship and bulletins to members of the congregation.
The Scouts attended this special Mass to stand united in faith. Girl Scout week is held every year in March. Troop 9684 has been celebrating Scout Sunday at the Corpus Christi Cathedral for the past 8 years. Each year Troop 9684 invites Scouts from all over Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to attend.
The Scouts wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to Bishop Michael Mulvey and Father Pete Elizardo for welcoming them and celebrating Scout Sunday at the Corpus Christi Cathedral.
