St. John Paul II High School's Health Careers Club members, Julia Gonzalez, Viktoria Martinez and Brianna Salazar appear in front of the Coastal Bend Blood Center mobile unit at their school.
Over thirty eligible students and community members from St. John Paul II High School gave blood to the Coastal Bend Blood Center on Aug. 23. The blood units collected at this blood drive will potentially save many lives in the area.
This first blood drive of the 2016-2017 school year was coordinated by the high school's Health Careers Club members, Julia Gonzalez, Viktoria Martinez and Brianna Salazar.
The club's sponsor is academic advisor Ted Garcia.
