For 57 years, Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi has been providing Christmas food baskets to those in need in the 12 counties of the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
For 42 years, they have been partners with the U.S. Marines Toys For Tots Program, providing toys to children in Nueces County. This year, Catholic Charities will provide 2,500 households with a holiday meal and toys to families with children ages 0 - 17.
Registration will run October 2-31. This year, registration will be open only during October, Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, and Thursday, 1:00 - 5:00 pm, 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. Registration for a food basket or toys is required.
The distribution dates will be December 18-21 at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi.
The Blessing of the People by Bishop Mulvey will be on December 19th from 8:30-9:00 am.
