Blessed Pope John Paul II High School presents musical “Sing”

The Theater Arts Department at Blessed Pope John Paul II High School will present the musical “Sing” Broadway Bound on April 26–28 at 7 p.m. and on April 29 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $5 general admission and $10 reserved seating. 

Set in McKinley High School, a famous director comes to audition the students for a chance to go to Broadway, as well as produce their annual production. During the show different characters demonstrate their excitement, nervousness and dreams of Broadway.  A school board member, however, is determined to not let the show go on.

The audience will hear songs from many Broadway shows and experience the “awesome talent of John Paul II High School students,” development director Caroline McFarland said.
