Bishop Wm. Michael Mulvey traveled Saint Joseph Seminary College in Louisiana on Wednesday, Nov. 7, for a visit with seminarians from the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Bishop Mulvey had not been to Saint Joseph Abbey before and wanted to spend some time at the seminary and see how his students were faring this semester.
Father Joseph Lopez, Corpus Christi vocations director and chancellor, accompanied Bishop Mulvey on the visit.
The bishop treated the diocese's five seminarians–Oscar Chaparro, Richard Gutierrez, Ramiro “RJ” Regalado, Charles Silvas and Margarito Trevino–to supper at Metairie's Drago's Restaurant.
“I am glad to report that our seminarians are all doing very well and are enjoying their studies. I urge everyone to pray for them and for all our seminarians,” Bishop Mulvey said.
