On Dec. 12, Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School held a Christmas program featuring the re-enactment of the nativity. Guests included Bishop Michael Mulvey, Superintendent of Catholic Schools René Gonzalez and associate superintendents Anna Lozano and Nannette Quintanilla-Hatch.
Students participating in the play included Alex Lerma-Palacios as St. Joseph; Bernadette Salazar as the Blessed Virgin Mary; Kevin Lara and Andrew Watters as shepherds; Camryn Caylor and Bridget Lee Sang as angels; and Jeremiah Baldwin, Jasper Cable and Jacob Quintanilla the three wise men.
St. Juan Diego, played by Albert Diaz, made an appearance and Brookelynn Ortega was the soloist.
