Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School had an exciting Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 26-30. Students participated in a homeroom door-decorating contest and heard from speakers, older students and a historian. They had a Spiritual Day, a Western Day and a Student Appreciation Day.
Three homerooms won in the School's homeroom door decorating contest using National Catholic Schools Week theme, "Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service."
Two speakers Deacon Fred Castillo and Margaret Alarilla, Director of the Office of Religious Education spoke on the importance of having a Catholic Education.
On Spiritual Day the students and faculty attended Mass and heard motivational talks from Tony Zamora and Noah Dimas, who gave their testimonials about their experience in Catholic education.
Students wore their favorite shirt on Student Appreciation Day and on Western Day, students wore western attire and heard from historian Brian Burns.
