Bishop Garriga honors their Veterans

November 16, 2022Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School honored its Veterans with a Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 15 in the Kennedy Center/BG gym.
The school’s principal, Sister Marilyn Springs, IWBS, Ph.D., welcomed the communities Veterans and asked the audience to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Veterans Band of Corpus Christi, led by Ram Chavez, the founder of the organization, presented the flags of the military and then asked the veterans to stand next to the flag of the branch they served.
