Angels softball team advance 

to TAPPS Regional Playoffs

The Incarnate Word Academy varsity softball team will advance to play in the TAPPS Regional Playoff game on May 5 at 6 p.m. at the O’Connor Athletic Complex in Victoria.

The Lady Angels varsity softball team, who are undefeated in district, will face Houston Lutheran South.

Recently, the Lady Angels recently defeated Katy’s St. John 2-1 on May 3 during the TAPPS Bi-District Playoff game. The Lady Angels also defeated Holy Cross High School 11-6 on April 29 and St. John Paul II High School 4-3 on April 26.

In district standings, the team is ranked first with a 14-0 record.
