Alyssa Ayarzagoitia receives the Marc Cisneros Scholarship

St. John Paul II High School senior Alyssa Ayarzagoitia was awarded the General Marc Cisneros Scholarship on Sept.7 after a school wide weekly Mass celebrated by Father Patrick Higgins in the Immaculate Conception Chapel on campus.

Ayarzagoitia was selected to receive this scholarship because she exemplifies the leadership and character traits of those represented by the General Cisneros.

An anonymous donor pledged $4,400 towards Ayarzagoitia 's 2016-2017 tuition. This scholarship started in 2010 and will be carried on until the year 2020. A selected senior receives this award at the beginning of each school year.
