We embarked upon a tremendous opportunity to unite the Body of Christ in a profound way within our diocese. Parishes took part in a diocesan wide program that united the Diocese of Corpus Christi in prayer through Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
The Traveling Monstrance that was used went from parish to parish with the sole purpose of uniting us in prayer before our Lord in Holy Hour Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in preparation of the Feast of Corpus Christi.
After traveling the entire diocese, the monstrance was used at our diocesan Feast of Corpus Christi celebration on June 3, 2021 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral. We embraced this opportunity to come together as the Body of Christ and spend time with Our Lord in prayer as we honored the Name we bear as a diocese.
We would like to say a special thank you here to those who made the diocesan celebration possible.
