BBQ Fundraiser from St. Pius X Men's Club

The annual Brisket and Sausage BBQ will be held Sunday, Oct 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the St. Pius X Parish Hall (5620 Gollihard Rd, Corpus Christi). Plates are $12 donation each and include brisket, Prasek's pork sausage, homestyle potato salad, tasty pinto beans, bread, pickles, onions, and a drink. Tickets are available from Men's Club members pre-sale and at the door.  Dine-in or carry-out available.

Deserts will also be available from the St. Pius X Student Council.

The Men's Club ministry serves three functions:  1) assist the Parish Pastor and staff with maintenance, construction and development of the Parish facilities, property and grounds; 2) assist the Parish pastor and staff with work associated with Parish liturgy, meetings, dinners and special events or projects; and 3) provide opportunities for member entertainment and social interaction.

We have used the funds raised from the BBQ to help the church offset maintenance and construction costs, purchase kitchen equipment and serve at funerals and fundraisers for other ministries in the parish; and assist the school with classroom and playground equipment purchases.
